BCLS and AED instructors play a crucial role in imparting lifesaving training. BCLS and AED instructor courses not only cover topics such as core skills development, classroom organization, equipment management, common questions and answers, effective testing and evaluation and key facilitation procedures.

Course Content
- Adult Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
- Adult Relief of Foreign Body Airway Obstruction.
- Child Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
- Child Relief of Foreign Body Airway Obstruction.
- Infant Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
- Infant Relief of Foreign Body Airway Obstruction.
- Application of Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
Entry Requirement
- Able to speak, read and understand English effectively as the course is conducted in English.
- Physically fit with no pre-existing medical conditions such as back trouble, knee/spinal/joints injuries, heart/lung conditions etc. Please consult a doctor if you have any pre-existing medical conditions before proceeding with the course.
- Trainees who are pregnant or suspect they are pregnant are highly discouraged from taking courses with CPR. Due to safety reason, we strongly discourage trainees from attending the course. It is advisable register for the course after maternity leave has ended.
- A valid Basic Cardiac Life Support Provider certificate
- Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 5 in Speaking and Listening, and Level 4 in Reading, Writing and Numeracy
